Reviews of Jumbo Playing Cards
Ploughing through pages of products can be confusing. I decided to reduce the pain with this simple path via a Jumbo Playing Cards Review. Jumbo Playing Cards are cards that are bigger than Regular Bridge or Poker cards. To a large degree Jumbo Cards are a Novelty item and are used for many different purposes. One trap when trying to select Jumbo Playing Cards is to not get confused with Jumbo Index Cards. There is quite a difference. 100% plastic Jumbo Playing Cards not found
I was unable to find a 100% plastic Jumbo Playing Card, therefore keep in mind that the cards reviewed are not waterproof. They all claim to be plastic-coated and durable so are appropriate for mainly indoor or short-term use. Naturally, when being used with very young children, the largest of the Jumbo cards will be cumbersome and more at risk of damage. When used for outdoor party decor, night dampness will probably result in card sagging if left out too long. Who cares, just have fun! Or have a look at standard Waterproof Cards instead
Red front Jumbo playing cards only
The other thing I discovered – I could only find Jumbo Playing Cards with Red fronts. I love having different fronts on my cards, but hey, I don’t always get what I want!

How to choose the best Jumbo Playing Cards
- Consider what the Jumbo Playing Cards are for – are they for a friendly game with kids? Are they for a party or themed get-together?
- The material should be considered – do you need waterproof? This is tricky in Jumbo cards
- The design should also be considered – I couldn’t find anything other than red. You may need to recover if special colour is needed

If you are looking for over-sized playing cards, the GiantJumbo Playing Cards which each measure 10.5 x 14.5 inches, are seriously over-sized. The deck is a full deck of 52 cards with 2 jokers. The cards are printed on a heavy-duty card with lamination on both sides for an authentic feel. They have a smooth, not textured feel. Shuffling and handling is difficult, as you would expect, with a deck this size, however, you can use them for any of the card games that you would usually play with a standard-sized deck. From a party or event perspective, you are only limited by your own creativity. Wall or table decorations or even personal costumes – these cards are a cost-effective option.

3. Kangaroo’s Huge Jumbo Playing Cards
The Kangaroo Jumbo playing Cards are an in between alternative in the Jumbo Playing Cards marketplace. The 8 x 11 inch cards are still oversized and are a good quality and have a glossy finish, but not as sturdy and durable as the Gameland or Prextex. The smaller size makes them easier for young hands to handle and as such makes a great gift for kids; it makes the learning of numbers an easy task! While the kids are learning with these cards, they are also having fun by playing games with them! It is just the right cards to create a lot of laughs and memories. Eventually the children will lose or damage these cards, the ones that remain can then be repurposed on craft projects.
The Kangaroo’s Huge Jumbo Playing Cards cost less than the larger cards so if your purpose is primarily card games with young children these are a good choice. Brings novelty to your next party or visit for grandchildren.

Yuanhe does stock the very big Jumbo Playing Cards but I came across this deck. Sized at 5 x 7 inches, this is certainly a fun-sized novelty card. Made of heavy-duty 350g paper stock coated on both sides these cards feel and look like proper cards, just bigger. Everyone will surely fall in love with them!
